Associate Recognition Programs -"The Shining Star Program", "The Associate of the Month" & "The Manager of the Quarter"!
Carefree Resort & Villas offers the "Shining Star" recognition program for any associate
who goes above and beyond in an extraordinary way for a guest or another associate. We
recognize those associates who have earned recognition for exceeding guests or fellow
associate's expectations! Past winners have enjoyed cash awards and a "Shining Star" certificate.
The "Associate of the Month" award is given to one associate each month recognizing
that associate for his or her exceptional overall contribution to the Resort. This award
is given to any associate performing above and beyond in an extraordinary way for the
entire property. Winners of the "Associate of the Month" program also receive cash
rewards, and recognition at associate events.
"The Manager of the Quarter" is awarded to those managers based on high performance
levels in six categories; guest service, teamwork , accountability, profitability,
quality, performance as a role modeling service behaviors and overall associate relations.
A "Manager of the Quarter" exemplifies the highest of standard as ambassador for the Resort and promotes positive associate relations. This coveted award winner is selected by the Executive Committee after review of nominations from each department. Internships
Carefree Resort & Villas is proud to offer Internship Opportunities to
students that are interested in learning more about the hospitality
industry but may lack the experience. Internships are programs that allow
students the opportunity to gain practical (hands-on) work experience
within a supervised hotel setting. Internship opportunities are available
in the following areas; Human Resources, Accounting , Spa & Fitness,
Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, Conference Services, Sales,
Information Technology, Guest Services, Culinary , Public Relations,
