Carefree Resort & Villas Pet Policy

1. Pets cannot remain in public areas of the hotel at any time, including any dining areas of the resort.
2. A leash must be used at all time to transport your pet throughout the resort.
3. Housekeeping times are to be pre-set and a member of your party should be present during the housekeeping service (i.e. 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
4. Pets are required to be registered prior to checking into your room and a one-time pet fee will be assessed. The pet fee will vary by room type as follows: Resort Room & Sonoran Villa- $50; Deluxe Sonoran Villa & Casitas- $100; Grand Sonoran Villa - $150. The pet fee is used for basic cleaning once you depart to remove dander and sanitize the room for any potential allergenics, however, does not cover any damage that occurs during your stay related to your pet. The cost associated to the damage will be assessed by the resort and charged to the credit card on file upon registration – it is very common to be charged after you checkout. To avoid unnecessary fees, we recommend that you inspect and notify the resort of such damages so they may be assessed with you present prior to your checkout.
5. To insure that the other guests of the resort are not inconvenienced by noise, it is your responsibility to make sure that you make every effort to keep any pet noises to a minimum at all times. Should the resort receive any complaints regarding noise from your pet, you will be contacted by security with an initial courtesy warning. A second complaint will require removal of your pet from the resort, or possible costs associated with appeasing the inconvenienced guests (at the resort's discretion) to your credit card.
6. The resort, parent company, agents, and staff will not be responsible for any liability involving your pet with respect to property damages, injuries, or any other incident regarding your pet. Please keep in mind that we are in a natural desert setting, so please take necessary precautions to plan for things such as the heat and indigenous "critters" you may encounter.
